Our story began in a small studio in the middle of Palmerston North/nowhere. With only one desk and next to no free time, and honestly it is still the same. But why?  

Life was dull and without colour, I hated socks, I'd reached the point of only owning black crew cut socks just so I didn't have to deal with missing socks and socks go missing in so many ways! Some known theories include;  

Dogs burying them in the yard,  
Sock gnomes taking them during the night,  
Aliens sucking them through a portal when the washing machine spinner  hits 88 miles per hour,
Or even an ex with the idea that regular petty theft is the best revenge (true story).

The list is vast, but whatever your theory, replacing missing socks blows. Stores have boring socks, charge to much, and you have to actually go there. That's why SOCK OFF was born.
